Well the error message is actually displayed up the top (I guess I forgot to make it Exit).
It says OpenSSL not found. I guess you missed it! The other thing, you need a modern WinUAE, if you're using WinUAE, with built-in TCP: device (only used during login process). Edit: You may also have to reboot after putting OpenSSL in C: ... but I did try to make sure that that wasn't necessary. Any error message is meant to cause all active connections and files to be closed... but i'm not sure about that particular message. The use of OpenSSL is new. |

I'm trying that too, but me and a friend are compiling a .HDF with minimal RAM requirement to be able to network with a minimum of 4mb, so this program could help us.

Check openssl.tmp in ram:t/ . Paste all output. Obfuscate any private info.
Also, are these IDs hotmail, msn.com or other? Last edited by MickJT; 02 September 2009 at 06:33. |

OK
it seems like Openssl is invoked wrongly... Code:

What version of OS3 and shell-handler do you have? This is a solveable problem. You can remove the *>NIL: part from the script. It is not invoked wrong but is perhaps unsupported with the shell you are using. Bash shell has ways to redirect STDERR to null so I could work around it if I need to.
Make sure the script is exactly 7 bytes smaller after removing *>NIL: .. If not, then it didn't save properly. Edit: Might not be called shell-handler (can't check at the moment). Try "version shell" or something. or shell-seg Last edited by MickJT; 03 September 2009 at 03:26. |

Ok I think I still have an old version that uses stunnel to log in instead of OpenSSL. I'll cut and paste it into the current version and you can try that.
Give me 12 hours or so then i'll e-mail it. |

Nice!
The thing goes further but it stops saying I need and FPU to run the Ixemu.library that I have. Now I'm trying to find a suitable one in aminet |

You do need an FPU though. Stunnel has been compiled needing an 020 and FPU and linked with OpenSSL with the same requirements.
If you get it working without an FPU i'd be shocked. By the way, if you see stunnel.pid before AmiMSN is running, you should delete it. I never did end up putting that check in. Don't delete the .rnd I'm going to look into if cURL is able to do the login too. |

KONEY, there is a new OS3.1 specific version on the site now that uses cURL.
If it doesn't work, there's no hope! Remember to configure AmiMSN.cfg properly (just change user and pass is fine). |

Don't forget ixnet and ixemul go together. ixnet.library is in the ixemul archive.
