Who repairs A3640's?
Hi guys,
I have an A3640 board, rev 3.1. When installed into an A4000, it gets a green screen and reboot every 5 seconds or so. The machine seems works fine with another A3640, so it's not that. I swapped the CPU's between them and the problem follows the board. The caps were backwards (according to guides linked here) so I removed the old ones, cleaned the board, and installed new ones, but still a green screen. Someone offered to look at it sometime back. Anyone interested in tackling it? I don't see any bad or corroded traces, but maybe my nearly 40-year old eyes are going bad. |
