The easiest and newest Adventure creator
Yep, I´m searching for the newest and easiest-to-use Adventure creator for Point and Click adventures.
Do I still have to deal with the good old GRAAL? Or are there other programs to choose from? Thanks for your suggestions! |

I deleted my post because I didn't realize you mentioned the GRAC program your first post, however you mentioned GRAAL,which apparently is not the same.

Inga is newer, it was used to develop Ermentrud.
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...50132718373912 Never got round to trying it myself, so I don't know how easy it is to use. The docs are mostly in German. It has been removed from the site, but I can put it in the Zone if you are interested. |

It is now on Aminet (not a coincidence?) so I have removed it from the Zone. |

In Amiga I know few creators for graphics adventure games in point and click style.
1- GRAAL. It's a very interesting tool with few advanced options. It's more complex to use than other options and usually need 2 Mb as basic machine. Only for OCS/ECS. You can find in Aminet. 2- Doopsi. Simple to use but effective, it's a really cool app and easy to use. Support AGA, but I'm only found demo versions from Aminet or little version form Amiga Format cover disk that allow a small adventure with only 3 or 4 rooms. For a full Doopsi you need a key, I'd contact with the original italian author but he say that lost all sources and the keygen few years before when his A1200 hard disk break. 3- Inga. It's the most modern and very good tool. You can compile for Amiga 68k with RTG, AmigaOS 4 and Morphos. It's for accelerated Amigas not for and old Amiga 500 with 1 Mb Ram or stock A1200. 4- Grac 1 and 2. For me it's the more equilibrated tool for run with low Amigas as 500 with 512 kb chip + 512 kb fast. It's an AMOS based source but works good. Grac 1 mainly is the core of the adventure constructor, you need code all from AMOS basic without graphic tools, only pure core based on Grac commands. Grac 2 add few new things and a complete script language and interface for do a graphic adventure with no knowledge of Amos basic. Grac 2 it's available in Aminet with binaries and sources. You can check our thread of Grac 2.x update. http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=90846 It's possible that other makers exists but I'm not know. |
