Woof - Unknown platformer
regnsloja contacted us at HOL with a request to have a look at a disk they dumped: http://www.regnsloja.se/amiga/dump/amiga.htm
The request is written on the website itself, so I'll just forward it here and hope somebody can have a look |

I had a go of Woof. It plays and controls OK via A500 emulation and the graphics are well drawn. I noticed someone went to the trouble of including an idle animation, although I'm not sure what it depicts. Is our canine chum filing his nails?
I didn't reach the end of the first level before getting bored so I wouldn't know about the issues addressed re: advancing between stages. All a bit generic, that's the main drawback. |

No probs, just done that now. 'Snooze' causes it to crash after attempting to start a new game (see attached image), while the other two passwords work fine, allowing you to skip to the later levels.
It features quite a nifty animated game over screen it should be noted. |

Looks like loading problem. Missing data or corrupted data.

Checked it in adf-workshop and it's indeed a bad disk image, unfortunately.

I've been playing through it for screens and maps so I'll create an entry soon.
The second world (Ocean) won't load although the levels after it work okay. |

I know it's a lot of work to add and update all these game pages with all the research and media creation involved.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your incredible work |

Here's the HOL entry: https://hol.abime.net/6860
It'd be great if someone could fix this game so we can play level 2. |

Looks really impressive. Were the Scandinavian Computer Club long-running, did they develop many games?
Off-topic, and it'd never occurred to me before, but the kids TV series Woof! from that time, about a boy who kept turning into a dog, could have made a great game too. Maybe arcade as the dog and arcade adventure as the human? |
