Preventive care for my 1084S monitor

Hello, lately I am not switching my A500+ too much. However when I do switch it on I noticed that after a few minutes (not more then 10 minutes) my 1084S monitor for a few seconds shows the picture a little bit pink, then normal again and so on.

Obviously this must be a sign of trouble ahead. I was wondering, what might be the problem? is there anything I can do in order to prevent any damage?

Probably a solder joint giving up slowly - if not a cable/connector contact problem.

it could be something simple like a loose wire in the monitor lead or a bad solder joint on the pcb of the monitor.

Send a message via ICQ to Predseda
Agree, I had the same problem, checking and re-soldering RGB connector helped.
