WTB: Amiga 1200 RAM board for basic A1200
Man, I should never have sold my Blizzard 030 IV - I was in the middle of a financial crisis and should never have let it go - I think it went for about £70
 At least I still have my A1200 Tower and Blizzard 040 PPC card... Anyways, I have a bog standard 1200 that I'm looking to play games on again - WHDLoad doesn't seem to work very well with the standard 2mb Chip RAM so I'm open for either just a straight RAM board or a low end accelerator. Got an 030 accelerator on Amibay for a reasonable amount so if the mods want to close this thread...
I am still on the lookout for a BPPC 060 swap for a BPPC 040 and some cash if someone wants to do that - there is a thread on the swapshop for this. Cheers Chris |

Why not pay PG over at amiga.org to upgrade your BPPC to 060?

I didn't even know this was even possible DDNI. Who is PG?
Are the boards themselves identical or something? Where would we get the 060 chip etc? Cheers Chris |

PG is a user over at amiga.org. He lives in Sweden and upgraded my 040 BPPC to 060 last year. The work is fantastic.
He has the 060 chips. Currently he does not have the latest mask 060 but the ones he does have are fine for 50/60mhz use. edit look here, I posted a thread about it. http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...t=bppc+upgrade |
