Cool Animated Shell ”Type” commands?
Hi all! A long time ago it was quite popular to use alternative Type commands to draw text in the shell window in cool ways.
Jumptype made the shell window exit the screen and come flying in again displaying a text file. Quartex used a tool to convert 1 bitplane images to ansi animations and draw them in a tricky way in the shell. I am sure there are lots of others that animates textfiles in shell? I used DIEd and created a bunch of ansi animations and a randomizer to display text when i open my shell. Have a look here: [ Show youtube player ] Sorry for the crt flicker! Do you remember any cool commands to display texts in creative ways in shell? Link me some hot stuff!! |
