Strange characters Workbench 1.3.2 with Kickstart 1.3

Hello, got an A500 with original Kickstart 1.3 (kick34005) and original Workbench 1.3.2 (on disk). Everything works fine on the real hardware. However when I try to load same setup on WinUAE workbench loads, but the title of every icon is gibberish (looks like one character off). The issue only happens when Text is set to 80 from Preferences.

I do not know if it is the process I used to extract and set up WinUAE which is the problem so I am going to explain it over here. I extracted Kickstart from the A500 using GrabKick (kick34005). Next I copied all Workbench files from floppy disk to CF card (COPY ALL DF0: System:T) and then from CF card to my PC. Finally I just set up emulator with the extracted Kickstart, 68000 CPU, OCS Chipset, 512MB ChipRAM.

Does anyone know what causes this issue?

On WinUAE do you use hdf or dhd ?
If hdf, which filesystem did you set up ? Same as on your real hardware ?

I only boot from adf at the moment. Have not tried yet to make a Workbench 1.3 installation.

Funny, caesarcoding... the letters represent the next letter in the alphabet, or the ascii table rather... O=P, q=r etc.

I think there is something strange about the Floppy, you should have that floppy to analyze it, have you tried to start other Workbench 1.3?

Yes exactly, this is what I wanted to mean by one character off. The Workbench disk title is "Vnqjadmbg0-2". Adding V+1=W, n+1=o, q+1=r ... g+1=h, 0+1=1, etc, i.e. - adding +1 to each character gives back "Workbench1.3".

FastFonts is buggy.

1) enable immediate blitter
2) enable more compatible config
3) get rid of fastfonts.

Same adf disk works on Kickstart2.0 (kick37175) and 3.1 (kick40063). I extracted these same steps as explained in first post and never had problems. I also extracted Kickstart1.3 again when I noticed the problem.

There is also a less buggy "FastFonts" in Aminet that should work. Besides, it also speeds up topaz.9, unlike the buggy CBM version.
