I think the black screen indicates No CPU detected. Check that it is inserted correctly into the PLCC socket of the Wicher card. Also try without the ram module.

Do you have a simple multimeter?

If so then you can very very carefully check for continuity (with the amiga turned off) between each pin of the wicher and the underneath of the 68k socket on the amiga mainboard. It could be that your socket is a little loose and some of the pins aren't making contact.

Worth checking at least. Are you able to email the designer/builder?

I have now tried to check the continuity from CPU pins to the CPU socket on the card,
Theres is continuity but i dont know To test it right, 62 pin on motherboard and 68 on cpu socket, so some of Them gods to the same spot.

YES!!
After i have changed the CPU ( for the 4th times) and mounted a CPU socket under the wicher card.
It now actualy boot up, and work fine.
It runs at 25 MHz with 8 MB ram onboard.
I will try some different configuration when the times allow it.

I'm having a similar issue with my Wicher card. What CPU did worked in the end, and where did you get it from?

What do you mean you mounted a CPU socket under the Wicher card?

The only issue now is to tweak it to be stable, i have to find a brunch of RAM to try to find one that Will work with the card.
I bough the cpu riser and cpu from eBay

I'm finding that I spend more time turning it on and off trying to get it to finally boot off CF. When it does, it seems to run fine. Then I reset and i just get a blanks screen..... so turn it on and off again for 5 mins, until it finally restarts.

What are you doing about it? Have you contacted the seller or Retro 7 Bit, or just giving up?
