A500 booting straight into Guru Meditation

I’m trying to figure out and decipher guru meditations that show up on boot.
I am able to click away and boot from my Gotek after that. But it does seem strange. The A500 is a rev8 with 512kb ram. Very clean MB and in otherwise good condition.

The messages I’ve written down are:
#000000003 52e36b2f
And
#000000003 00c01570

So some address error? What does the other numbers mean?

Thanks!

I would give every socketed DIP chip a slight lift and re-seat. Oxidation could be a factor.

One cap on the A500 motherboard that does matter is the cap in the reset circuit. If the through-hole cap dries out, the system comes out of reset too soon, before all other circuits are ready. On the Rev 6a/7 it's C42. Likely to be the same on Rev 8.

I would also put a digital voltmeter on the 5V/Ground lines on both sides of the A500. Make sure you are getting a full 5V at all points.

Thank you for your reply!
I’ll recap the board and clean and inspect the ICs and sockets after the Easter holiday.

It seems like it was the RAM expansion that was the issue. I removed it and it seems like the GURU-meditation is gone. The RAM expansion is the 2mb for A500 edition bought at Amigastore.eu and came with a GARY-adapter. Unfortunately I madaged to break off one of the pins on the adapter when i needed to refit the adapter. I've left the card in the expansion slot and AmigaTK recognizes 512kb ram . Not sure if I need to adjust some jumper settings on the expansion card when not using the GARY-adapter.(?) The initial goal was to have 1mb of chip and 1 mb slow ram.
