You don't need Windows 10.
Just install any Linux distro in VirtualBox and you're good to go.

I do use Windows 10 but I don't give a toss about WSL, it's a permissions nightmare tbh.
Instead I have a Manjaro VM I use almost daily or when I can't be bothered firing up my other Manjaro PC.

Do you mean md5sum/shasum/whatever? Ie will the files be identical? No. Definitely not.

Sorry to necro this thread, but did the working copy of the Amiga Power disk ever get archived somewhere outside of the Zone?

I'm sure it did. I don't have laptop with me to check but it may be on EAB/Turran FTP.

I just checked it and found the disk image.
