A2000 Keyboard - How to Install Keys with Wires Correctly
I have an old A2000 keyboard that was apparently smashed at one point or another. This is a keyboard with the greenish plastic spring/rings underneath the keys. I recently picked up a shift key and an enter key. These are the 2 of the keys that have wires underneath them.
How do you reinstall these without breaking off the plastic retaining clips on the keyboard itself? |

The stabilizers can be installed by just gently pushing them onto the clips.
On the keycap end you need to gently bend the stabilizers so that they can be stretched into the clips. Don't bend them so much that you deform them permanently. |

Thank you for that bit of information. I was able to install the 2 keys without any breakage.
