IDE Terminator 44 pins for Amiga

Hi all,
I recently bought one of these from Amiga Store

as I have my CF card attached to the IDE interface of my TF1230.

I have installed it onto the IDE interface of the 1200 mainboard. My HDD LED now shows activity for the drive connected to the TF1230. The only downside I have found so far is the HDD light is constantly flickering like there is some small amount of drive activity.

Would this be considered normal?
