Love It!

wire frame squares, IK+ karate figures, that PONG tribute was awesome!

1500 hours..... not surprised!!!

thats nearly 188 days solid 8 hours work!!!!

If you take out saturdays and sundays and you have 241 days (34 and a half weeks)

I used the search function of the site for LEGO and didn't find anything... probably didn't look hard enough... should have checked OT first.

It has been alleged (not by me) in #scene.se that it's rendered. Certainly, LDraw + a 3D package could do the job, and certainly, the rotozoomer and video capture pixels (some strange-colored bricks here!) parts would either take a hefty amount of disassembly between each frame, or if all frames were built beforehand, a hefty amount of Lego tubs - I'd say one per frame.

Also, the camera angles are extremely smooth. Film corporation quality dolly/turntable. And lots of different-colored, flawless backgrounds. So they had a greenscreen room with some equipment.

The Tac-2 and Press play on tape texts are obviously done in the film editor app.

I'm undecided - certainly the very first few seconds look real enough, and if they rendered the Tetris part, they're better than anyone working for Hollywood!

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say everything's real except the rotozoomer and video capture pixels parts.
