First time I've played this game (I don't know why but I wasn't particularly interested in it back in the Days...). Quite cool (and fast)... I certainly have a lot to learn... |

New Highscore
3521400 It was the first time i played Turrican 2 for points. Played it on my Amiga CD32 Pro. ( My Amiga 600 Furia V2 needs a new PSU by the way ) Anyhow....I think "this is it" - at least for me. Sure, there is room for improvement but still ... Greetings Nibbler Last edited by Nibbler; 04 July 2017 at 20:55. Reason: adding the 32 to Amiga CD . VERY important - you know :) |

^ Neat score.
Would've been nice to see your end of game-stats (number of lives & diamonds). [ Show youtube player ] 3,464,500 First time that I finished this without losing a life. Missed one at 42:40 though. With its height of 216 pixels this scales perfectly to Full HD (216*5 = 1080). Here's my highscore from the Knockout 2011/12: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=796022&postcount=18 No idea how I got 60k more back then. Don't think I've missed anything in the current playthrough (where I finished with 58 lives and 548 diamonds). Last edited by john4p; 04 July 2017 at 17:38. |

Thank you Nibbler! Really great score there - will be very tough to beat!
Umm...do you remember how many lives you had in the end? @ALL: Please note that we agreed to not milk the falling metal balls and alien garbage throwers: ^ So everyone has to just destroy the core of these potential milking spots right away. If you play by these rules I think the maximum possible score should be below 3.6M. (With milking one could easily get 8M or more, see 2007 EAB compo.) Dan has added this agreement to the first post in the Lemon thread, good that this is cleared up here now as well. Last edited by john4p; 07 July 2017 at 13:17. Reason: removed bee hives as milking spots since they don't contain unlimited bees |

I think i had 48 or 49 lives left and pretty much all diamonds (all that diamonds that i know of at least)
There are even other methodes for leeching BUT this is waste of time imo. Time & Lifes are precious (10000 points = 1 Live , and to standing there for minutes just to get the score of 1 life is just not worth it imo.) Besides, its no fun either. Sure there is room for improvement but like you said, i think too that 3.6M is the legit limit for Turri2. I am very happy with my score and Turrican 2 is one of my favorite games. That was basically the main reason i tried this It was really fun and kind of exciting Guess, this is my top-score, everything else above would be SERIOUS WORK !! - and i dont want to spoil the fun out of Turri2. I am SUPER HAPPY with my Result. Now its Time for the "Lemons" to bring out some decent scores |

But with 50+ lives that takes hours and is neither fun nor challenging. Quote:

I died against the final boss... hopefully I'll finish the game with my next try but I'll be very far from the top scorers. Anyway, as already said, the most important thing is to have fun! |

Earlier I said we must not milk the bee hives. Talked to lifeschool and since they have only a limited amount of bees each we're allowed to milk them (level 1-1).
So just don't milk the metal balls and alien acid/spit. You'll get 1M game completion bonus plus bonus for the diamonds and remaining lives so you'll probably double your score next time. |

Game completed with 14 lives left but I missed many diamonds that I knew about and a few lives as well... I can probably improve this score but this game is tough and certainly for a few days I won't play it! |

3,535,300 Lost 2 lives in normal play and another one after defeating the final boss due to a bug (hint: don't turn into the spike wheel on the right border). |
