Sorry, I don`t know how to use (add a bug) the bugtracker. So here we go:

I did all tests offline. Tried online to load a page but the site is always white. It seems loading but nothing is displayed.

Tested on A1240/40 AGA OS3.1 32MB.

When starting (all versions) a requester is asking for device "netsurf". After click cancel two times netsurf window appears.

When mouse is moved over the buttons hits are thrown (for each version see below). Used memory isn`t freed (at least after hit). I noticed each version its icons have different stack size. Is that ok or a mistake?

When starting (all versions) a requester is asking for device "netsurf".
Device "netsurf:" is a path to ns folder which is assigned at start but it should be named "netsurf" your is netsurfaga.

I noticed each version its icons have different stack size. Is that ok or a mistake?
Mistake, I don't know how much it should be. The bigger the better I guess.

UPDATE. Big speed improvement:

I managed to get 8 bit RTG mode to work using Novacoder's SDL.
Test on WinUAE nonJIT shows that scrolling is really much faster than 16 bit!

Please make some tests on your Amigas.

Repo in the Zone.

Now netsurf is much faster, thankyou arti (Novacoder too) ! Questions: Do i always have to copy wallget from netsurf:C/wallget/ dir to C: to use wallget ? If i download with wallget from aminet, all i get is "failed resolving host" ?

Edit:Problem solved: Just added "Resursive retrieval" to download profile and aminet download works ok !

Looks like assign didn't work.
Add "Assign >NIL: C: netsurf:C ADD " to User-Startup to fix.

Arti if you can not get rid of Ixemul, coudn't you tweak NetSurf to accept an older version without fpu or it just crashes for some reason?

NetSurf is targeted at 040 (minimum), really needs a fast 060.

My SDL library is built for 040 with FPU.

Wallget seems to put empty space before url when downloading from aminet. Maybe netsurf clipboard function or wb does that ? If i manually fix url it's working fast and fine. Hope you continue develop Netsurf. Thankyou arti !

The new 8bit RTG build is a lot faster, and almost completely usable on 68060/66 mhz. EAB works fine with it, the only issue is that when clicking on a link, the mouse pointer freezes for a second or two.

That's really good news, finally 68k has a reasonable browser again

Resizing is working fine, tested 8bit rtg version in ClassicWB. 16/32bit version colors are not correct after resizing window. Probably ClassicWB MUI colors or Fullpalette mess things up ? Thankyou arti, keep up the good work !

Works here on ClassicWB P96. Make sure that have window_depth in your options file match your desktop depth.

Works here as I use amiki 1.7 too. Like above make sure that have window_depth in your options file match your desktop depth.

Which version of NetSurf 3.2 is best

Possibly slightly o/t but would appreciate some advice on which version of NetSurf 3.2 is best to try to utilise. I'm running WinUAE 2.6.1 under AmiKit 1.7 with Boing Bags installed also. When I previously tried running NetSurf in that config I gave up as it proved unreliable especially when trying to download Demos etc from sites like Pouet as half the time it didn't recognise the links and i could get the pull-down menus to work so ended up using IE or Chrome.

So I suppose my question is in two parts; have the latest versions solved those type of issues & which version (8bit or 16/32) would you recommend I try to use?

THanks
