I was wondering one thing: where did the tunes come from? They sound really legit for like an 80's/90's computer TV show Whenever I hear them I get a really hard nostalgia kick. |

You're probably right, shorter is probably the thing to make it more YT friendly. But as you rightly point out, who cares?
I think of Youtube as being a convenient delivery platform, rather than it being a YT show, or even me being a "Youtuber"?! To that end, I'm hoping to make an at cost DVD or something, the a show looks pretty nice on a CRT! Thanks for your comments about the music, I really did try to get it as close to mid 80's daytime/educational show as I could manage. The music on the Halley Comet bit, I found on freesound, but the (a bit cheesy) theme and sting I wrote on Music X with an SC-88 module. |

Just watched episode 5 whilst eating a late lunch
Nice that "Tiny Bobble" gets a mention; awesome port A suggestion for a possible small additional feature to the show... there are always many new Amiga games being released / in creation on EAB. You could at the end run through some of these |

In number 4 you talk about Amiga and BIX: those two will cross roads again in Italy for an historical (for the local hacker scene) video, where two hackers try to 'breach' BIX to get information on the online version of Jane's using an Amiga 500 in 1991...

Wow! That is amazing. What a crazy video, I love the sense of panic at the end.
It's sort of blessing and a curse taking each month as it comes, it's very easy to skip over things by accident, like the advert for Quantum link... [ Show youtube player ] ..which became AOL! |

If you linked to a specific time in that video, that unfortunately does not work on EAB.

All his videos are produced on the Amiga via composite and a toaster if I recall. They have a wonderful retro feel about them, as does the shows music and his commentary. Highly recommended.

Youtube is starting to like the channel apparently, it actually (quite persistently) ends up in my recommended videos today. The magic algorithm sometimes actually does get it right.
Thanks Youtube, recommending me stuff I have already seen twice |
