Action car game

Okay, I cannot remember the name of this car action game for the life of me... understandable, as i was under the age of 5 at the time.

It was a game (top-down view) where you started off on a motorbike (i think, maybe on foot even?) and you changed vehicles to cars, faster cars, boats, planes(?) and you had weapons to shoot enemys with.

That's all i remember really, sorry for the extremely vague explaination, maybe someone here can narrow it down for me. Thank you.

It sounds like Action Fighter, which is a clone of Spy Hunter.

Another vote for Action Fighter. Sounds just like it.
And on the later levels you become a chopper and/or other differnt vehicles.

Yes, Spy Hunter was a masterpiece!
And no one did copy its gameplay better than Purves and Lafnear with Major Motion.

An utter blueprint. And I bet that's the one.

Well.. I think the original Action Fighter on arcades is way better than the original Spy Hunter on arcades.
