Amishion Impossible - A new First Person Shooter for Amiga
Amishion Impossible is my entry into the seven day first person shooter jam.
[ Show youtube player ] The engine is simple - there's no floor or wall rendering, but because of that it can run at a solid 50 frames per second even on unexpanded AGA machines. Download and more details at itch.io - https://earok.itch.io/amishion-impossible-amiga |

Cheers
I've seen a bit of confusion about the project and I think I should have been clearer from the outset what the deal with this is. I had bit of a writers-block with Amiga gamedev and needed to try something new, the seven day FPS Jam came up and I decided to use that time to whip up something more or less from scratch (albeit recycling assets from an old project). More than that, it was an experiment for a new engine, something that can run fluidly on a stock 020 with animated, scaling sprites. The engine itself could (after AlarCity etc) be used for something much more substantial and polished in future. Quote:
