Games that are similar to Breed96? (Space-Strategy)

Does anyone know if there are other games on the Amiga - or on any console or other systems - that have ALL of the following 5 features: (Breed96 has all except 5. for example, I KNOW it´s out there)

1. SimCity-like creation and management of colonies.
2. More than one Planet to visit and build colonies on.
3. Exploration of space.
4. Trading and/or any form of combat.
5. Music INGAME - that´s the SINGLE reason I can´t play Breed96 - I hate to not have original music - even if it´s a single tune - and instead need to use mp3´s in the background, terrible

I have to admit I do so like K240, i cannot remember if it had ingame music though.

You will not find any game for Amiga with all 5 of these criteria.

Did you try Colonial Conquest 2 as I suggested?
Did you like it?
It is the closest thing you will find to your 5 demands. And it's fun.

No. It has Civilization-like creation and management of colonies. It is simple, cool, and not tedious like the real Civ game.

I don't remember. It has been 10 years since I played it.

I agree with you that ingame music is highly important, which is why I recomended Total Chaos AGA. It comes with tons of music and is 100% user editable. You can add your own music, or delete music you don't like. Its the bomb for customizability! I love mod music!

Believe it or not - I thought you meant Colonial Conquest 1 - the classic strategical. I am currently searching for screenshots of part 2!

hey this breed 96 game looks awesome. What are the hardware requirements for it?

The game is not AGA and can be run on a plain A500, I don´t know if it´s stable on newer machines, but being made in 1996 I assume it has high compatibility. Also I really like the graphics, proves how much style you can get in 32 colors

I run it on an a1200 030 and it runs fine. Not the hardest game in the world but great fun.

another game that should be mentioned is Utopia and Utopia 2,

both a good games as well as UFO enemy unkown... awsome game...

Yes, Utopia is great but there´s no exploration of other planets - as far as I know. Is there something different in Utopia 2?

After trying all the suggested game I have to say that Breed96 might just be the closest I can get to what I want on the Amiga - of course I still hope someone can prove me wrong here

if background music is what you seek to make the breed 96 a better game, I have an idea that might be possible to try.

I am hoping that you have a CDROM or better connected to your amiga.

firstly find some appropriate backing music. write this if need be to a cd.

load the game up and begin play. put the music cd into your cdrom and press play ( use headphones ) or if you have the cd-phono-outputs attached put them upto the stereo

I have my cdrom comming out of the amiga audio ports and its perfect for dark atmospheric games i just play either the quake music cd or the aliens music cd
