Another thing I noticed: Get a score of 150000 or higher and you will not be able to enter your name in the highscores. The game will bring you back to the title screen instead of the highscore screen.

Not a big problem and probably not related to the crack. Just wanted to mention it

Hi, inspected the code.

If you like I can PM (or public) the cheat mode activation.

Cheers,

Outlands 100%

...in the zone.

Cracked and one disked by moi, game complete sequence now works as it should.

Disk system has been entirely replaced, nasty horrible Atari ST loader, took forever to load anything, also redid the entire game complete sequence and single filed the entire thing as it took a ridiculous amount of time to load up, and now ripped and compressed to one disk.

Did this ever get finished? I have the version with Dizzy Dice on it as well, will a proper install be released?

Also, on Disk 2, what is on Track 1.1? is it junk or protection?

I never got back to this, but I can take a look into finishing up the install today or tomorrow.

The version I has a malformed protection block on disk 2...not sure if it is a bad dump or how the original disk 2 was. I redumped several times always with the same result. Tried with kryoflux and super card pro with the same results.

Sweet

I've also uploaded my Kryoflux dump to the Zone to compare, it's a 7-Zip archive!

No, this is a version that has Dizzy Dice on it as well, your 1 disk crack was just for Outlands.

HOL doesn't appear to have an entry for this version either!

I'm about 99% done, but should I add CD32 joypad support?

BTW: Your version is exactly the same as the original I have. Played it all the way through in winuae...need to pull my 1200 out of the closet to test on real hardware.

Adding CD32 joypad can't hurt

So my version also has a bad track 1.1 on Disk 2, but does the game actually access / check it?

Here is the beta version of the install. I have not had a chance to test on real hardware yet.

As for your bad track on disk 2, it does not appear to be an issue I played the game from start to finish running directly from the images you supplied. The game only appears to check the protection track on disk 1.

Ok, installer installs both the IPFs I made in Disk-Utilities and both games load when installed, this is on an A1200 WinUAE setup (stock CPU) + 128mb fast ram + RTG

However, Outlands runs way too fast compared to the same IPF images running on an A500 WinUAE config! The Pandora loading screen could also do with a bit longer delay on the screen before the game starts, say 3 or 4 seconds.

So the track on Disk 2 can be ignored then
