Disaster!

Hey!

Just returning after a long break from EAB, I joined back in 2006 when I acquired an A600 and some extras. Lost it all in a house fire a year ago, all the hardware I had and the software

So now I'm starting again with a MiSTer. Just ordered the DE-10 yesterday and have a shipping date of the 30th, also ordered an analogue I/O board, small case, hub and heatsync. All told around £300 including a 5:4 LG Flatron, which is under what the insurer gave me for the destroyed A600.

To be honest, the A600 had lanquished on my desk for a few years without being powered on but I'm back in full nostalgia mode at the moment and need more than UAE will give me.

Glad to be back here and trying to catchup on what's changed. Any pointers greatlfully recieved!

sorry to hear about your 600 and hopefully no other valuables were lost in the fire...it's an awesome time to be an Amiga users with the amount of great NEW games and software released the past few years and not to mention the new hardware which has been released which is just mind blowing

Have fun with your MISTer once you get it all set up..I hear its a great emulation box...btw change your sig when you get a chance
