Andy's Emerald mines MIA list
Well, here's my MIA list for just one game - emerald mine. The emerald mine disks unfortunately span hundreds of disks.
Emerald mine are clones of the original boulderdash games. Anyone following EAB for a while might know that the official Emerald Mine Club in Holland was selling a cd for a ridiculously silly amount. Look at this site if you think you're rich enough to buy the cd:- http://www.a-biz.nl/emc/ Not surprisingly no-one seems to have this cd, but if you do, then get in touch and I will try to sort out a deal with you. The site at least includes an handy list of most but not all emerald mine games, totalling approximately 550 disks! I've since discovered that there are more though too. After you recover from the shock of the price. You'll discover that there's a few sources of emerald mine stuff for anyone wanting to get up-to-date on this stuff. 1.The Amiga Tosec collection includes nearly 300 emerald mine games. 2. There's also the emerald mine web site:- http://amiga.emucamp.com/emerald/ 3. You can also buy an emerald mine cd, originally a cdtv/cd32 release, which includes about 200 emerald mine games, unfortunately none are in dms format. Maybe someone could have a go at converting these into disks. 4. Another good source of emerald mine games is PD cd's, because a lot of the emerald mine games weren't commercial. Over the last few days I've sorted my emerald mine disks from my cd's and sorted out which games exist and which games i need. If you upload then I'm sure these games will find their way to tosec to be available to everyone so it's all in a good cause, rather than pay for that bloody cd! I'd be really grateful if anyone can upload any of the missing games. ====================================== FOUND - COMPLETE EMERALD MINE SERIES ====================================== ALL GAMES IN THESE SERIES HAVE BEEN FOUND! emerald mines
Some names are a bit ambiguous and often named wrongly on my cd lists. So, I'm still trying to figure the mess of naming out.
Also some disks are known as other names. I'll get a list together of alternative names for these games and I'll update the list as i go through the disks and figure out the proper names for the other ones. Could you post the laser games and the junior chaos cave twisty. I'm not sure if i need the others yet. I'll post my listing soon too. Last edited by Warlock99; 21 July 2002 at 08:12. |

cd32/cdtv Emerald mine cd-rom
By the way i've managed to convert games from the "oh no more yams" series from that emerald mine cd into disks using a game from the same series as a template.
Only thing is, the picture at the start doesn't match up and also the text on the main menu stays the same and doesn't change to the name of the new mine. There is an emerald mine editor but i couldn't get the renaming function to work. Does anyone know how to do this? Maybe the picture can be sorted out with deluxe paint or something, i dunno. I'll upload a couple of the games i've converted if anyone wants to have a go. UPDATE! I managed to rename the forgotten mine 1 to 2 using emerald mine editor and it worked fine! This one didn't have a picture. If some games don't appear in this forum I may convert some from the emerald mine cd. I'll wait and see first though. I've uploaded listings for the emerald mine stuff. I've split it between several lists for ease of reading.

Megahits 3 & Nordlicht disks collection
Quite a few emerald mines can be found on the Nordlicht collection of disks. This collection can be found on the megahits 3 cd-rom.
If anyone has this cd-rom, could they please upload the games that I've referenced on the list above. update! Duke has very kindly sent me all the mines on the nordlicht disks. I'll upload them all to the zone in a minute for everyone! Thanks duke! Last edited by Warlock99; 25 July 2002 at 01:37. |

DX boulderdash
Apparently, there's a version of boulderdash for the PC. The interesting thing about it is that amiga levels from emerald mine adf's can be imported and exported from the editor. It also has some support for c64 levels too.

Actually, it's probably still relevant as a sticky since the missing games on this list are still missing. Maybe I should add a Mine field (pun intended) to the TGMIA, then we can unstick this one?

Maybe someone can update Andy's MIA list (via latest TOSECs and this thread) and then Twistin' can combine it with his MIA thread and then I can pop open some beers and start digging through my latest haul....

Thanks for the kudos. Well, I bet you too could indeed fill up some bigger gaps, if you knew what is inside of all those "unlabeled" disk images of yours Quote:
Oh f*ck oh damn...:eek :eek (And I would usually complain if I lose mere 15 gb of data...) |

I have attached a list of emerald mine disks with their original filename. Might help in finding some of those.
