Be nice if they're around the Gloucester / Stroud area in the UK and I can pick up if not then postage to here.

Thanks,

If you have any more of those Zetr0 I would be interested. I installed a bigger HDD in a friends xbox and his dvdrom wasn't ejecting properly when he gave it to me and then it died shortly after I gave it back.

I have a black DVD-rom handy as well. Not sure what the Xboxes use but this is just a bog standard dvd rom, ide with molex power.

Hiyas THB, let me double check as I have another box going to Paradroid90 and one going to Macca when he gets back to me. I think I do but let me double check

Alas although this WILL work on an XBOX, it wont read XBox games nor will it eject by using the XBOX itself.

Xboxes use custom DVD-ROM. PC ones will not read game discs.

Rare exception of some Samsung drives from 2002 which can be re-flashed with x-box drive firmware.

@Alexh

good point, i was thinking this from a POST flash / chip-modded angle,

@Smiley
basically, unless you have a chipped / modded XBox your stuck to using the basic custom dvd drive.

You'll also have to turn the motor 180 degrees in the Samsung 616T aswell.
It won't read originals, only backups, so not really recommended.
