New version, more playable characters, longer stage and a bit more difficult.
On psp in 2 player mode first player have to pick character first then player 2 can choose his character.
Moves are Forward,Forward,Attack for knights knife and Forward,Forward with other characters.

Hey guys

Sorry for resurrecting this thread from the dead! I've been trying to find sprite sheets for Moonstone for some time but I can't find them online anywhere. When I google "moonstone sprites" the first image result is a cached jpg that google claims to be referenced from this thread. The cached image looks like it could be the complete knight with all frames included, but unfortunately, it points to an address on imageshack that is no longer reachable: http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/3773/blueknight.gif

If anyone knows how I can find complete sprite sheets from Moonstone I'd be very thankful! Are any of the MS sequels/remakes mentioned on Moonstone Tavern still being worked on? Do you know if it's possible to reach the people who have been working on them?

I'm only doing this as a hobby project, but if it reaches any level of awesome I'd be more than happy to share the game, source and assets with you all. Thanks!

I was chatting a bit with Rob about making moonstone, asked him how he remembered working on it etc. and he still have original drawings and images on his disks in old house in boxes, i was trying to rip stages from moonstone and its possible caues theyre composited from smaller parts, stones, grass chunks etc and assembled into bigger pic and its visible when you use graphic rippers for amiga

but sprites are different story ,theyre chopped and its not that easy to assemble them together so i think its better to rip sprites using pause and advance frame.
heres latest version of my moonstone:

You need openbor for windows to run pak file or you can even play on android phone:

Ah and most important thing is that Rob didnt had anything against me makign my own version of moonstone and he actually said i did a good job assembling it together and adding some of the stuff cause i sent him youtube link.

Hello,

age of thread, necromancy, yadda yadda,

has anyone assembled a collection of Moonstone sprites? I'd like to do some tests with a Knight animation to see if it can be made smoother by generating additional frames.

I started ripping the Knight sprites myself using Maptapper, Got the walking animation complete and used Intersprite to generate interpolation sprites to make the animation smoother.

Left: Interpolated, right: original.
