a fairly good conversion of the ZX Spectrum "Ultimate - Play the Game" classic, although as i recall, the monster movement patterns are somewhat more rigid and as such are more predictable than the original.

i also have a feeling this is written in AMOS no?

It's from Assassin PD games collection, disk number between 170 and 180 (I don't remember exactly which one). I can upload it this evening too.

Nope, that doesn't matter. I use GIF only and screenshots from Amiga games are good with gifs as gifs can handle a maximum of 256 colors... what's wrong is you converted the picture wrongly and ruined the pixels.... so gif or png doesn't matter, you just saved it wrongly. There are different settings for GIF, seems like you saved with "Reduction method: Error diffusion" which caused the image to go bad.

Been using GIF myself for as long as I can remember, best format imo .

Many Amiga games and demos have much more than 256 colors on screen simultaneously (even in OCS/ECS)

With GIF format I often see those strange dots, not visible in game. I'm using print screen + Irfan View to paste and save.

Yup, those that uses those tricks. But most of them don't and still, if saved correctly even those that uses more than 256 would look near perfect anyway (not noticable imo in most cases).

Yeah, those dots appears when you save with the wrong settings, of course they are not in the game . I don't use Irfan so can't tell you what to change.

Hi s2325,

use End + Print Screen instead. WinUAE will generate the PNG for you. No more switching or quiting
