Oh, Wow- Now, I see on my eyes-> R200 driver works with Warp3D (W3D_R200_PPC.library) in Workbench 3.9

and game (I see engine Q2) that was never released, but long time I was waiying for it - SIN

SIN is working only on R200 3d driver (32Bit in Warp3D?)?
Voodoo3 will work(16Bit in Warp3D)?

This is original RTCW with new video intro converted from YT, and played before game via AMP2 (script), and turned "on" in config file parametr: played_intro=1
RTWC in 16:10 aspec (resolution)

Hedeon said a couple of pages back that different parts of the driver are owned by different companies, so I don't think it's possible to release either variant.

I think that in that one post he was talking of the possibility of running AOS4.1 on the PPC cards.

Yep, saw that one. I thought that somehow something changed that made Hedeon able to showcase it? I mean, why show it if it's not coming out ever?

Maybe to show it is possible and that it could be achieved either by some clever person who can code a new driver from scratch or in the hope that these companies allow the amalgamation of their driver code to make this new one.

One question I do have though is: has this question been asked if we can use their code to make a new one?

I think Hedeon is sitting in a room, gagged with his hands zip tied behind his back while somebody browses around his computer and says, look what he's been hiding all this time. So maybe someone with the code will come forward and offer a decent ransom to free him.

Or maybe he showcased it to put a bit of pressure on the involved companies. In an ideal world they would both agree to release their part for a one time payment, but in Amiga-land...

Do we know who the appropriate people to address at each company would be for something like this? I’d be happy to pony up some cash for this, especially since a working voodoo 3 card is now creeping up toward the $thousand range :/
