EAB - Amiga Magazine Rack

http://amr.abime.net/

A question to the developers/maintainers of this excellent portion of EAB.

I've just been up in the loft looking around for bits of computer hardware and stumbled across some Amiga Magazines and wondered if it this worth me posting them off to you guys to scan and add to this section.

We're always open to contributions - it really depends on what the magazines are (we may already have them).

Amga Magazine 1987-1999

Just been rooting round in the loft and pulled out these so far - magazines only, there are books too.

I want to eventually build a bookcase to display all my Amiga, Sinclair Spectrum, BBC, Atari, C64, hardware reference manuals etc. Like a little museum of retro stuff.

Also found some Amiga hardware on a supporting beam... hmm

I don't like to stay up there for too long, because I start getting everything out, bringing it all down, playing about with it, not putting it back...

Commodore Business and Amiga User - Feb 1987 £1.50
Commodore Business and Amiga User - Nov / Dec 1987 £1.50
Amiga Computing - Vol 1 - No. 10 March 1989 £1.95
Commodore Business and Amiga User - May 1987 £1.50
Commodore Business and Amiga User - July 1987 £1.50
Commodore Amiga and Atari ST "The Directory" Spring 1991
Amiga Guide Jan 1994 (CU Amiga)
Amiga Active No1 Oct 1999 £4.95
Commodore Business and Amiga User - Sept 1987 £1.50
Amiga Format Issue 123 May 1999 £5.99
Amiga Format Issue 129 Nov 1999
Amiga User International (Incorpor' Commodore Buss' Mag" Feb 1988 £1.95
Amiga User International (Incorpor' Commodore Buss' Mag" March 1988 £1.95
Amiga User International (Incorpor' Commodore Buss' Mag" April 1988 £1.95

Amiga Format Issue 124 June £5.99

Browsing through these magazines, you can smell the vintage of the paper, Mmmm.

More Photos

You are more than welcome to scan and upload these to your specifications.

I'd help you but I no longer have a flat bed scanner.

I think I have more scans and stuff archived away in my old Amiga Realm website too. Books and Manuals etc that I'd OCR'd

Year 1988, I feel like treating myself to a new "computer". So what's on the market..

Ahh, an Amiga B2000 Pack #3 with XT Bridge Board and a 30MB HD for £1825.
I'll need a Star NB-2410 24 pin printer for £429. An Evesham Micro external Floppy drive for £99.95. A data switch box to split my serial port. I'll need MidiMaster £34.99 and a game to play, so I'll go for Xenon £19.99 plus a joystick....

Hang on, better just see what change I have on me..

Happy

@Stephen,

Morning,

This website is too addictive and should carry a public healthy warning, as sleep becomes irrelevant when viewing..

AMR section has some really interesting articles from the past, love the trivia, cracked games used as screenshots, "2% game review", "only 60% finished".

If you PM me an address, I'll get them sent off to you for scanning. PS: I don't have the original floppy disks or cds to hand for any of mags.

Paul.
