postage is okay, problem is VAT, customs and custom office fees. It can even double the final price for me. Anyway, I want that game of course.

I'll buy a boxed copy as well.

It's true that VAT, Customs and Customs fees are the real problem, not shipping costs itself.

It might sound crazy but it would be probably better for buyers outside UK if you'd sell the game on Ebay and if you'd ship it through the Ebay Global Shipping Program.

I'd be interested in a boxed version to buy. Is it available as a download too?

As painful as that sounds, that's what I'll also be using next year for shipping physical copies outside of UK from then on with. The options are very limited when it comes to postage now from UK to Europe and rest of world.
Anybody that can't stomach the postage and fees etc. on physical versions will have to purchase the digital download version. Not much one can do about it now really IMHO

All the best for the release of Scourge when ready

Thanks Adrian!
I think I will be taking a leaf out of your book for sure. Best of luck with Cyberpunks 2! It looks amazing BTW!

For those wishing to purchase, I will release details on the boxed copy as soon as I am able (a couple of months time-ish, but don't hold me to that).
There will be a digital download option too.
I am looking into getting some nice goodies for he boxed versions...of course, I will post any and all news to this thread and no doubt make some sort of video for myYoutube channel

Wayne I am so excited for this game. I already bought it via the A1200.net A500 case campaign. Really hope to have you on the stream again when the time gets closer. I am super stoked for Cyberpunks 2 as well. I hope everyone can at least complete level one because being held hostage in the Plaza Tower Block sucks!

Oh Bill, I can't wait for you to see what they have planned for their release of the game. I have been busy working on artwork for use on several VERY cool items that they're making.
I get sent regular updates on the manufacturing processes...and each one is better than the last.
After Scourge is finished I don't think I will ever be able to top this experience to be honest! I can't wait to be on the stream chatting enthusiastically with you about it....I promise to keep it clean

So is the boxed version going to be released on real physical dd floppy disks then,
do they even make them anymore?

weird question on a retro forum perhaps, i have been away from retro computer land for some time.

It´s going to be fun to come back to the a500 and experience your creation.

Even some new boxed Amiga games are already released on SD cards as ADF images. Floppies became very rare.

You can still buy new DD disks: https://www.floppydisk.com/ (scroll down about 2/3 of the page).

Granted 80$ for 50 disks isn't cheap...

Wow!
80$ was a bit much for my taste, but very cool that you could still get them.
Although floppy´s are painfully slow by todays standards,
there is something very nostalgick about putting a floppy disk into the drive and listening to that characteristic noise.

So there is a cryptic message on A1200.net’s Indiegogo Amiga 500 Case Page that the game has been released and is being included in the SOTU Special Edition Case.

Hello all!

I thought I would just drop by and let you kow what this actually means.

The game hasn't yet been released (it's still in the final stages of development). They guys over at A1200.net had to forge ahead with their plans because of their commitments to their suppliers/manufacturers. All of their work has taken years of planning and is finally coming together. Our game is a little behind in development but it's still nearly there and all will be revealed just as soon as we're happy with it

Thank you all for your patience and enthusiasm!

Seems like the websites for the game aren't what they used to be Is there a new address for the website?

Thanks for clarifying! It also is insinuated that the game will be distributed individually by A1200.net for anyone who wants to purchase it. Can we assume that this is a full big boxed purchase option we have all been craving?
