IK+ Codes, Cheats and Secrets

As Archer is now passed away, it seems fair to say that all the codes and secrets of IK+ went along with him. He said he would release a list some day, but never did.

Here is what we know. Some secrets can be found by typing words. Most of those seem to be in the code, which can be read with any ASCII or HEX reader.

Archer said that sometimes a key must be held down first, or two or three keys in a combination. Some secrets might only be found at certain parts of the game, like on the high score table. I tried stuff when the game is paused, but so far no luck.

Here is a list that I found so far. Can you find more?


Switch to German Language - germ
Switch to English Language - uk
Toggle filter - filt
Music plays faster - fast

Volume Up = +
Volume Down = -
Sound FX in pause mode (press Space to Pause) - P
Change referee jumper pattern to checkers = J
Shadow Colour = S
Bigger letters on shield during bonus round = B
Different sun reflection = 8

Freeze the game (to take a photo) - frez
Pac-Man moves across screen - pac
Fish leaps out of water fish- fish
Bird flies across screen - bird
Periscope rises out of water - peri
Makes a Leaf fall down - lea leaf
