Amiga 2000 keyboard
Hi,
does anyone know where I can get hold of an A2000 keybord in the UK or alternatively is there any way of using a PC keyboard instead ? Thanks |

You can use an a500 keyboard if you dont find an a2000 keyboard, although the reset (CTRL+AMIGA+AMIGA) will not work.
A2000 pinout A500 pinout Or alternatively you can buy a PC keyboard adapter from Vesalia in Germany, although I am unsure if this works on older workbenches. They also sell A2000 english keyboards. Vesalia |

It's not a workbench thing, it works whereever a normal Amiga keyboard would.
The converter probably has a ps/2 connector on one end, you can use a normal ps/2 -> din adapter to connect it to the A2000. |

I've just bought an Amiga 2000 with no keyboard, it's why I'm resurrecting this thread.
What is today the best way to use an 'alien' keyboard with this machine ? Thanks in advance for your help. Xavier. |

If you check ebay, you'll find adaptors to allow you to connect a standard PC PS2 keyboard. Have a search for "EXTERNAL KEYBOARD INTERFACE for AMIGA 2000 , 3000"

Or as an above poster suggested, wire up an A500 keyboard. Probably the cheapest option
