What's the best method (?)

Hi guys,

How are things? Pls, I would like to know if it is better to emulate directly from the WinUAE interface (without loading the OS) or it is better to emulate from the OS (Workbench). What's the method consumes less resources? Or is it indifferent ?

It all depends on what you are doing. If you plan just to run ADF/IPF images, you don't need workbench. If you like to run WHDLoad, you do need WB install or some of automated options. (ClassicWB has built in option with holding of middle button iirc)

It is also thing of prefference, but mostly depends on what you after. For more frequent game I create game configuration with WHDLoad disk from xbox setup and game loaded as second disk.

On the Windows side? Probably makes very little difference. WHDLoad needs the OS and some extra ram, so it needs perhaps 2MB more RAM or something.
