Question for Crackers

Hey,

I play Indianapolis 500 and after a lot of parameters tweaking, I manage to reach a quite fast car (March/Cosworth 39,25s my best time). Very cool game indeed, my favourite racing game on stock A500.
Unhappily, my game disk crashed. I use the cracked version by I.B.M (blue screen at bootblock load). I didn't made any backup of disquette. So, I've lost all my March Cosworth set-up. I need to recover slot #1 and #2.
Is it possible to copy a sector(s)/track(s) to recover my car settings ? If yes, any clue what are the sectors ?

Back up the disk now? Transfer it to the PC. Compare to known good version of same disk?

I couldn't find any direct reference to this but there are lots of different ones here :

@alexh : I was wondering if it is possible to copy again the same cracked version (for instance : the Angels, Defjam, Genesis) on a non corrupted disquette. Then, copy a specific sector/track from my corrupted disquette to the good one. So I could (may be ?) restore my lost my car settings.

Edit: the game seems to use trackloading, but I'm not sure.

Edit':My very first message is unclear

For same crack disk version, this is possible, if car settings data are undamaged.
Create disk image from cracked version.
Use DIC from WHDload package.
Create disk image from version you are using.
Use DIC again.
Use FileMaster 2.2 (Split/Cut and Join options) for creating disk image (ADF).
Write this image on good diskette.
Use ITD from WHDload package.

I believe that is possible for a NON DOS disk that had trackloading.

Identifying which tracks/sectors contain the save game use WinUAE and a good version of the same crack and look at the tracks/sectors being accessed?

Then use Don's method above.
