Fate gates of down uae save disk

Hello
I have problem with save disk,the one made by uae dont work
I downloaded the game from fan site and it have 3 disk insted of orginal 2
but all 3 disk seams to bee game disk
when i try to save i got info"the game will be saved and then game saved" but when i try to load uae dont wont to accept my save disk

Pleeeaase help

you must not try to save on the game disks. Use a seperate one.

You are using the phil Douglas version ?

No i have blank disk made by uae but i also tryed to save on game disk

And i just found info on some forum that i need to format this blank disk,but how?
Im using "fusion" version i think;p

Load Workbench, insert the disk and format it

As far as I know WinUAE creates already AmigaDOS formatted disks, so I don't think that's the problem. You could also try to create a custom disk in WinUAE (the button right next to 'Create standard floppy'. Maybe that works with Fate Gates of Dawn.
Oh and btw : Why don't you just use savestates?

Mkay i going to download workbench

Well both options of winuae create standard or custom disk. but they dont work as a save disk in fate.
I dont have fate instaled on hd,dunno how to do it,and i havent found any option in uae to save if its what you have in mind;p

No option in UAE to save? Go to the Misc section in the GUI and have a look there

Thx finaly i can start to play,but anyway i would like to have adf save disk

Erm, you can almost do the same with the savestate as you would with the ADF (well except put it back on a floppy that is

). Anyway I will have a look this evening and see if I can make a compatible disk

I just tried to save and load my save game as I remember that I played the Fusion version back in the day and could save w/o problems. And I could save in UAE without problems as well. I'll attach the save disk, maybe it helps.

Of course I tried to load the saved game and it worked fine. Which UAE version are you using?

I am using the same version and it works w/o problems for me. You didn't enable "Turbo Floppy" mode, did you?
