"Jumping" picture on a real CD32
Hey,
I bought a CD32 off eBay some time ago which has been running fine except for one slight problem. All the video outs on that unit produce a "jumping" or bouncing picture to my tv when a certain screenmode or colours dominate the screen. I do know it's nothing to do with flicker as it can be easily avoided by changing the screen palette. It seems that the colours most like to produce the problem are those in the middle of the palette, so mostly black or white screens have no problems. I installed an SX32 unit to the console and connected the CD32 to an Amiga monitor through the RGB port. This doesn't reproduce the problem. Any ideas what might be wrong? I haven't ruled out the fact that it might be my tv, but it works fine with my A1200 & CDTV connected into it. |

You have a NTSC CD32 on a PAL TV or the other way round?
