Os4.1 uaegfx

I've been out of the Amiga scene for a long while and have been enjoying getting back into it.

I've discovered FS-UAE can emulate PPC and have managed to get OS 4.1 FE installed using one of the guides on here. Picasso IV emulation is great but the ram limitations mean a lack of decent resolutions.

I followed this guide to try and get uaegfx working but I assume this winuae only? http://aminet.net/package/driver/video/UAEGfxForOS4

Is it possible to get a higher resolution than those provided by Picasso IV?

Copy UAEGFX and UAEGFX.info to a floppy from a 3.x install. Start FS-UAE. Load up
your 4.1 config. Go to the Expansions tab and select UAEGFX (I choose Zorro III) and
start up 4.1. It's gonna look like crap. Insert floppy and copy off the UAEGFX file to
where it needs to be (devs:monitors).

Restart. Enjoy.

With the official versions of FS-UAE this didn't work because uae boot rom extensions aren't supported with PPC OS

This seems like the issue I have. After copying UAEGfx into Devs:Monitors, turning off the emulation and switching to UAEGfx in FS-UAE I end up with "uae boot rom cannot be used with ppc native os".
