Pretracker routine in Blitz?

Has anyone tried to include pink's brilliant Pretracker routine in their Blitz programs?

Any ideas/hints how to go at this?

There's an example player here but I'm not familiar enough with asm to work out what the interface is. But it should be possible to wrap it up in a bb2 library

I just started looking at this two days ago and was about to make a thread about it. Would be real nice with a Pretracker routine for Blitz. There is a Blitz Basic example included in the AHX package, a similar approach could be taken for the Pretracker player.

EDIT: The AHX Blitz example doesn't use the CIA, but it shouldn't be too hard to convert, a quote from the source: "wanna use cia - take a look at the .asm source - should be no problem to port to bb2 (i'm fuckin' too lazy for that stupid stuff)".

I'm trying to find some documentation for the replayer since it supports subtunes, sound fx etc. and the asm example is rather limited. I queried Pink (creator) about it so let's see...

The currently released 1.0 version is just a straight single tune which is why the asm example doesn’t show the other stuff. Hopefully pink will release the updated version at some point with the sub song options

Ok, that explains it. Yes, hopefully the updated version will be released.

That's a great idea, I would love to have it sometime in the future.

I don't think so, I was looking for it not long ago and it seems there is an updated asm-player but it hasn't been released publicly and might never be.

We released today PreTracker 1.5. It supports subsongs, soundfx and has a new asm and C replayer example on board.
