Probably as you played the game on a A1000 with KS 1.1

I noticed this long long time ago and my guess was: game was programmed and tested on an A1000 (it is really old game). A1000 boot rom moves audio pointers to area that is normally empty after hard reset.

Or they simply never tested it after hard reset

Restarted a game some time ago... but going slowly now (I am no more a student with plenty of spare time )

I think it was initially on that but most of the time it was on my A500 1.3 rom..

Thanx for the the links to the fixed version guys. This game was my first jam when I got my A500 in 1988. I bought the original but don't know where it is after all these years.
