Not a real newbie just a little rusty
Hi to all, I have been out of the amiga scene for a while and as the title explains
I am not a real newbie but a little older and rusty. Been looking to setup a good emulation in windows 7 64bit, mainly to play some of the good games from the past mostly on the A500 and some aga A1200 I wanted to setup winuae with the whdload packs, and possibly one of the distro,s either classic WB or amikit etc..... For gaming which would be a good way to go. I have also seen a good in depth winuae hard file setup on YouTube from lemon amiga . Sorry if this query has been already posted but the ones of searched and fount are a few years old. |

Hiya,
If you just want to play games then you might be better off with a Game Launcher front end. I can't remember the name of it but there's something out there that uses WinUAE and WHDLOAD to shows you a list of games so it's basically 'click and play'. Otherwise if you want to actually use WB a little then I'd recommend installing AmiKit, it comes with a Windows installer so it should be very straight forward to set up. |
