amiga to pc options
which is the best way to connect a pc and amiga 1200 up .. transferring files etc .. ?
after searching a bit i find null modem cable and bluetooth as options bluetooth seems too expensive.. null modem cable seems better but they all seem to be db9 to db9 i think i need db25 to db9 .. both female ? im in the uk |

You can directly connect an A1200 hard drive to a WinXP PC using WinUAE - by far the fastest way to transfer files. I've never done it myself, but there must be some advice on here or guides on the net.

By far the best and simplest method is to get a PCMCIA network install/setup a TCP/IP stack, Samba or a FTP and you're sorted.
