AmigaLive Charity Appeal (for goats!)

Hi everyone,

I hope it is OK to let you all know about a charity event I am running next Saturday 6th of June at 1pm BST.

I will be undertaking a marathon 2-3 hour session of psycadelic Jeff Minter classic "Revenge of the Mutant Camels" via AmigaLive, in support of the Buttercups Goat Sanctuary, with the game chosen due to it's bipedal Goat protagonist!

I am hoping to raise funds through JustGiving: Dom's AmigaLive Buttercups Fund Raiser and the event has been "officially" approved by Jeff Minter himself via twitter! .

Buttercups is the only registered goat Charity in the United Kingdom. Their aim is to provide relief to goats that have suffered or no longer have a home, and it is a wonderful place to visit. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has hit animal charities (who often rely on visitor funding to stay active) particularly hard, and they sanctuary is now under threat of closure. Even the smallest donations would be of help.

The live session will be free for anyone to join, and being that AmigaLive is in use, donors will be free to join in a live game as well should they wish.

The stream will be viewable on YouTube: [ Show youtube player ]
And I will be chatting throughout via Discord https://discord.gg/bqeca8Z

Thanks to you all

Actual goats!

Usually those treated cruelly, neglected or starving, and now risk being put down due to the santuary's lack of 'at the door' donations.

If only you were doing this for an Elk charity... Belgarath would have donated his life's savings

Just a little reminder that this is still happening tomorrow and anyone from EAB is of course welcome to join in.

There will be a 'open' voice chat to begin with, and I will only move to limited numbers in the highly unlikely event that there are too many people with something to say!

Even the smallest donations (£1) would help the sanctuary, as it provide another goat with another (probably a few) meal(s).
