I use DOpus 5.82 for more then 20 years now without such problems and I don't know of any copy problems. You might check DOpus5 preferences but that shouldn't change anything.

First, I would check for a possible MaxTransfer problem. You are using SCSI right? If so it could not have MaxTransfer issues but maybe other setup problems?

Check if the copy problem happens only with the reset command or also with other equal or larger sized files.

FFs International with Directory cache - isn't it meant for floppies? I once had it installed on HDD and got read errors.
