The main important disks are the Whitebox , virus collection, and the Digital access party demo is not even listed --->
http://bitworld.bitfellas.org/demos....=250&where=any I am sure they would like that demo party slideshow added there.. There are also disks labeled Stuff 1 , Stuff 2 ... they have Jrcomm modem software , xcopy , older versions of Whitebox and other cracking stuff ... All rare ... I just d/l whitebox from the zone and does it bring back memorys ... nearly shed a tear ..LOL
Whitebox used to work like this ... You would call a local phone number that was not connected and you would hear the telecom lady saying The number you have called is not connected please check the number and try again , you would hear this repeated twice then dead silence with maybe a hint of line noise ... then you would hear ..kerchunk kerchunk .. send the 2600 tones which would seize the trunk then you would enter the number you wished to call using the Ccitt5 tones.. then by ending with a * tone .. then ... ring ring ... quickly swap phone back to modem ... and the wonderful sound of modem talk ... then time to spend a couple hours d/l games.. then uploading and calling germany .. uploading there ... then another call to england .. then again to the states ... and so on ... I would spend atleast 6-10 hours a night modem trading making calls all over the world .. and also making new friends and talking to people in germany who could hardly speak any english ... ahhhhhhh memories ... but then telecom upgraded their exchanges and was harder and harder to box calls ... ... but after people around me got busted I called it quits , got a life and a girlfriend... Also the digital access Da party demo has me in it .... I was a big boy at 15 ... lol Thanks to whitegiant89 for spending the time to put these rare disks on here... I look forward to d/l the other disks when he gets a chance to do the others ... There should be xcopy , jrcomm , beast mc phreak dialer , ami express , cygnus editor ... etc on one of those disks. thank again... Last edited by -=SPY=-; 06 March 2010 at 12:29. |

Live virus and computer virus are worlds apart. Studying the code is fine, but I will just quietly agree to disagree on any other point.

Hi All,
I just stumbled across this thread and have some things to contribute. I wrote one of the original Dialers back in the day - before Whitebox was released. When I return to AU at the the of the month, I'll upload the source code and binaries to The Zone. Man those were fun days. @SPY a minor correction to one of your earlier posts - after dialing a disconnected phone line running on an ARE II (the precursor to the fully computerised AXE exchanges) exchange, you would hear two clicks like a heartbeat (not a kerchunk). You would then send down the tones (I believe they were R2 tones incorrectly called CCITT #5). Sending down a 2600 hertz zone to seize a trunk was only usable on the phone system in the US. Cheers, Chris |

Look out it's beast mc ... hows it mate ?
Yeh mate click click ... kerchunk kerchunk ... same shit ... lol Last time I used a dialer was around 18 years or more ago so memorys slighty faded... from all the chronic ... Your dialer is actually on the phreaking disk in the zone but for some reason it wont run in winaue gets software error anyhow uploading source code be good ... |

Hi lucidphreak,
The files originally uploaded to the Zone will have expired after 21 days. Tell me which files you require and I will upload them for you. Last edited by prowler; 01 May 2010 at 20:49. Reason: typo |

I just uploaded the source to the last version of the Dialer program (AU phreaking program). I tested it and it compiles properly. I've also uploaded a copy of HiSoft Basic to compile it with.
Cheers, Chris |

Let's give a big hand to all the virus coders :P
But the thread brings back fond memories too. I had two friends in Norway who got to know the police more than they really wanted to. One was said to do stuff with a NATO site, but never got any details. I'm thinking "War games" Maybe time to ask. |

yeah good old virus coders. Teaches you to keep all disks Writeprotected at all times, and to check, check, check and check for viruses.
