CardTrickEVD does work in direct mode with a voodoo3 and thor's mmu 68060.libraray, you have to set NOREMAP in env-archive:Cardtrickevd.config

Hmmm, how odd. It works on my machine.

I ma trying to set up cardtrickevd with my A1200/060 (running 3.1.4 with a Cybervision 3D in fastZII mode), but after starting the emulation and selecting a mode for cardtrickevd I get a popup saying "could not lock display". The .guide simply says that this error shouldn't occur under normal circumstances. A new popup then appears tsaying that I either have to little graphics memory or the mode selected cannot be displayed on my amiga. I don't know if it means cardtrickevd-mode or screenmode. I have my CV3D set up with the newest P96 and it works fine with Shapeshifters P96-modes.

Could there be something I'm missing? I've installed the 3.11 patch for CardTrickEVD.

What does that do / do you use it for Octopus66?

Ostensibly this patch makes the CardTrickEVD "blitter acceleration" work with
ShapeShifter 3.11.

Not sure if I notice a difference to be honest. Perhaps WinUAE is too fast already.

CardTrickEVD is essential however with "Direct" mode - the only driver which will show smooth ball movement in Crystal Caliburn pinball at 60Hz. Also allows me to run a 16 colour screen which allows Populous to work.
