Yes but they're wrong. It's Ubisoft.

Good one. I pronounce it you-bee-soft but I guess locally it would be ooh-bee-soft. But I'm not French, darnit, I'll pick whatever I like.

You-bee-soft of course. There is no other way. Not a correct one, at any rate.

Seems like it was our fault then, or more likely Dave Jones who likely picked that one from the 2 versions we recorded

That's how I roll - I come here once in a blue moon
Anyway, we all said "sig" then, until you read it / read up and we weren't sure. No internet back then and there wasn't anyone to ask, so it made sense to do it both ways. Funny to think we probably caused the confusion.

I think they pronounce it themselves in the intro to Blood Money, can't remember how off-hand.

lol you could have posted the full intro song, best thing on those disks!

I used to pronounce it sig-know-sis, probably because of Sig Sig Sputnik lol but pronouncing it the same way you pronounce the "psy" in psychology has got to be 'correct'

Wow, glad I decided to read this thread...
Not only do I get to say that, as an American who hadn't seen a lot of imports, the Blood Money intro was my introduction to the company, so it was always SIGH for me...
But also I learned something else!

Glad I never tried to pronounce that out loud to someone who knew better.
