my disc collection converted to adf
with the recent bs1 collection being converted to adf for all to download, i have been inspired to drag my haul of discs out the loft and adf them for all to help themselves to.
here are the links to the ones i have done so far- https://www.dropbox.com/s/4px2puvp0k...part1.zip?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/orr6xi7le2...part2.zip?dl=0 |

i think there is about 1300 in total, most will be out in the wild already but there might be 1 or 2 hidden gems.

thanks a lot! are these .adf all tested and in working state?
asking this, because i tried to do something similar with my floppies in december. ripped all floppy disks to .adf using adfer 1.2 from aminet without much success. most of these new created .adf images (>80%) are not working. Last edited by honx; 12 February 2018 at 16:50. |

i have tested quite a few but not all. The ones i have tested worked perfectly and all came from working discs. i used 'disc ripper' for doing mine, seems to be the way forward.

For imaging ADFs the best tool i've found is DIC from the Whdload package.
If the disk can be read without errors and did work as a copy (i.e. isn't copy protected) then it'll work as adf too. |

Another tool that is capable to save an ADF is WRip
Anyway, no idea how much efficient is it for that kind of operation I have no real floppies and Amiga to test it |

I forgot to say thanks for these, I downloaded them a few days ago but have been busy playing some Sharp X68000 games from here and everything else was forgotten. This place just keeps getting better by the day, we are spoilt for choice with all of the stuff like yours being made available
Once again, thanks for sharing |
