It was great indeed. One of the few games to be ported to that Amstrad (Schneider) word processor like computer running CP/M... I always pitied my nephew as his father had decided to buy that computer instead of a CPC6128 like me, but then he got to know this game by heart, and I never finished it....

There was a similar geometric game, with a werewolf at the time. Anyone remember its name?

Ultimate ruled. Knight Lore was way ahead of its time. I believe it was actually written before the 2D Sabre Wulf, and the release was held back several months so Sabre Wulf would still impress and sell well.

There were lots of games like those, and I personally think they all quite suck. Except Head over Heels, which is nice but not great.

Knight Lore sucks, Alien 8 sucks, Gunfright sucks, Batman sucks,
