Amiga 1200 revision

I need some help.
I would like to buy an A1200 on Ebay and i have found some of them.
But i dont want to buy a AT/ESCOM Amiga, because the known problem with the floppy drive.
I have found an A1200, where i would like to offer.
So i have asked the Seller to tell me some specific details about the machine.
He told me following:
YEAR: 1992 - 1994
Revisionsnummer: 2B -(there are some threads here, where i can read, that its ESCOM-like)
Kickstart: 3.0
- so its rather not an ESCOM Amiga
floppy drive: Mitsumi -so it should be not an ESCOM one!

The A1200 itself is labeled as "Commodore" Amiga.

So any help or suggestions would be very great.

ESCOM Amigas have a PC-floppy drive (Panasonic)inside.
This drive has problems to read some non DOS disks.
Also the motherboard of such Amiga is modified, if you have such drive inside and it seems, that you can not simple replace such drive without some soldering.

Well the 1992-1994 date is a dead give away. The Escom Amigas were manufactured in 1995. It also says Commodore which is another big hint that it isn't an Escom model. I think the Escom models also came with Kickstart 3.1 and not 3.0. Finally the badge is a dead give away, if it uses the newer Amiga Technologies logo (with a red diamond as the dot in the letter i) then its an Escom model. Sounds like a Commodore model to me though.

that's an original commodore amiga 1200 according to specs
The A1200 from commodore comes with Mitsumi or Chinon floppy drives
and always comes with kick 3.0

If it has the Commodore badge then it is an original Commodore Amiga 1200. Obviously they upgraded the kickstart rom themselves. It is upgradable you know.
