Slow start of FS-UAE
Hi,
FS-UAE takes like 10 seconds to start on my system. I've taken a look at the log and have seen such messages before he boots: Gary timeout: 07f7fff0 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fff4 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fff8 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fffc 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fff0 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fff4 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fff8 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fffc 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fffc 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fff0 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fff4 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fff8 4 Gary timeout: 07f7fffc 4 I've taken a look at UAE source and each timeout is 250ms and happens when Gary timeout bit is set and some unavailable memory area is accessed. Is this delay normal on Amiga Systems? Can I disable that in the UAE configuration somehow? Because WinUAE boots up faster. |

Sorry, you need to provided a lot more information in order for me to consider whether there is anything wrong. http://fs-uae.net/log-files-needed.
Also, I cannot know if the comparison to WinUAE is valid (have you checked that the FS-UAE and WinUAE configurations matches 100%? please attach WinUAE config + log files too). |

Nevermind. I enabled all cycle exact modes in WinUAE and I have similar startup times. Thanks anyways!
