WinUAE giving me a grey screen
Used WinUAE 3-4 months ago and when trying it out again today with exactly the same settings I’m getting a grey screen when loading and can’t get anywhere. Any ideas please?

No ROM? Maybe you've overwritten your ROM file?

If the ROM is corrupted, the screen should be black or red. Dark grey means memory initialization, and light grey means AmigaOS is initializing, copying itself to RAM and starting up.
I'd suspect a RAM setup or or autoconfig issue, so load up your default configuration, get rid of any fast/slow RAM, and try again. Then try adding memory back. If you have the "JIT" option selected in the CPU config area, try turning that off temporarily. Does anything work if you try starting in Quickstart mode? |
